Reply with quote | #2 | Hya Steve,
Got your email about the weekend in September. And as I'm finally back on the bike I'm gonna try and make it.
I again couldn't make it for the CBR this year because I wrecked the bike in December. And as my right hand is only now relatively painfree I've only recently got back in the saddle properly. I wasn't too interested in hearing all about other people having fun on their bikes neither so I haven't been on the forum at all neither.
My right hand was the only long-lasting damage to myself but I just couldn't get the hang of riding the bike with my left hand on either side of the handlebars .
One of the other injuries I picked up was the result of me putting a dent in the petroltank using my own personal battering ram . Thank God the bruising and swelling in the affected area subsided after a couple of weeks as opposed to the 7 months it has taken for my hand to heal.
Hopefully see you next month! __________________ a good friend will come and bail you out of jail but a great friend will be sitting next to you saying "Damn, that was fun!" |

Hiya Leggy - it's not THE bike that's up for sale is it? I'd liase with the UK office (wildside@adren-a-line.com) to see whose going as not many get on the forum nowadays. Hope you can make it bud!

Reply with quote | #6 | Any idea where to get a proper rental bike for the IOM reunion ?
The company that you posted a link to states that "no supersports bikes for rental"
Anthony Gallo type BMW tank really isn't what I had in mind for Isle of man.
Hauling my own bike from Finland to UK to IOM and back doesn't sound too tempting either and would be quite costly.
Anybody need their Swiss impounded bike picked up and riden to the IOM ? __________________ The weather here is crap but at least the taxes are high =) |

Reply with quote | #7 | hello Steve no its not THE BIKE thats one that will never be up for sale but it is currently costing me a small fortune turning it into a track bike which means the r1 which isnt getting used much is up for sale. Im still in contact with Dan Stu and Mick and the odd text to Dave so ive put them on to this event and hopeful to tag along.

What a totaly awsome weekend, the roads are just great and with the mountain and no speed limit what more can you ask for.
Great bunch of lads, and just ask nick about the kebab incident and Kate from the cottage.
Would go again in a heartbeat.
